In short: TripSums never charges you, so there is nothing for us to refund. If you need a refund for a flight, hotel or other travel booking, that request goes to the company you booked with — not to us. Here's how to find them.
TripSums is free. There is no subscription, no paid tier and no card details — we are funded by commission from the travel companies we link to. Because we never charge you, we never have a payment to refund.
If you ever see a charge on your statement that claims to be from TripSums, it did not come from us. Please tell us and contact your bank.
When you follow a link from TripSums you book on the provider's own site — the airline, the hotel, the insurer, the ticket seller. Your contract is with them, your money went to them, and only they can refund it.
To get a refund or cancel:
We can't cancel, change or refund a booking on your behalf, and we have no access to it. If you can't work out who you booked with, we're happy to help you identify the provider from the link you used — get in touch.
If a flight from or to the UK or EU is delayed by three hours or more, or cancelled at short notice, you may be entitled to compensation from the airline under UK261/EU261 — separately from any refund. Claim directly with the airline first; it is free to do so and they keep none of it.
Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer in the UK or EU, including rights you hold against the travel provider you booked with.
Important: TripSums does not sell or take payment for flights, hotels or other travel. When you book travel, you do so directly on a third-party provider's website, under their terms and refund/cancellation policies. Any refund for a flight, hotel or other travel booking must be requested from that provider — not from TripSums.
Any question about this policy, or help identifying who you booked with — email support@tripsums.com or use our contact form. We aim to respond within a couple of business days.
